Lee Team Arranges 2 Relocations for Stewart Title

Lee & Associates has negotiated two 10-year leases of 5,267 and 16,350 square feet at 60 E. 42nd St. (pictured) and 140 E. 45th St., respectively, for Stewart Title Insurance Company. These new leases will allow Stewart’s current regional offices of agency services, commercial services and direct operations to move as part of its strategic relocation and growth strategy in the New York area.

Kenneth Salzman of Lee NYC and Robert LaCoure of Lee Houston represented Stewart. “The space will allow them to implement new workforce standards, and provide dedicated areas for both their sales and legal compliance departments,” said Salzman.

The landlord of 60 E. 42nd, Empire State Realty Trust, was represented in-house by Julie Christiano. The landlord of 140 E. 45th, Rockwood Capital, was represented by CBRE’s Neil King. Stewart Title will take occupancy at 60 E. 42nd this month, and at 140 E. 45th in February 2019.
