Lee NYC Tapped as Leasing Agent for Retail at Seward Park Cooperative

Lee & Associates NYC has been selected as leasing agent for the retail portfolio at Seward Park Cooperative, one of the largest privately held residential properties in Lower Manhattan. Under the multi-year assignment, Lee & Associates NYC will oversee leasing strategy and retail representation for approximately 25 retail spaces spanning more than 50,000 square feet for the cooperative community.  The assignment marks a broader initiative by Seward Park Cooperative to modernize and reposition its retail portfolio as the Lower East Side continues to evolve.

“This is far more than a traditional leasing assignment,” said Paul Popkin, senior managing director of Lee NYC. “The opportunity here is to advance the Cooperative’s leasing approach towards a cohesive long-term retail strategy, focused on driving the portfolio to new heights. Seward Park has all the fundamentals retailers look for today — dense residential population, strong foot traffic, transit accessibility and a rapidly evolving surrounding neighborhood.”

The leasing team includes Popkin, Peter Braus, Eric Levine, Mo Dweck and Annie Squier.
