Lee IL Adds Industry Veteran Douglas Altenberger

Industry veteran Douglas Altenberger has joined the industrial team at Lee & Associates of Illinois. As EVP, he will work on sales and leasing across multiple disciplines.

Most recently, Altenberger was a principal with Stonegate Properties where he developed and managed more than one million square feet of commercial and office space and more than 250,000 square feet of retail space in the Chicagoland area, including the area’s first “restaurant park” at I-90 and Barrington Road, consisting of five chain restaurants (Romano’s Macaroni Grill, Fridays, Max and Erma’s, Lone Star Steakhouse and Steak ‘n Shake).

Altenberger began his commercial real estate career in 1992. Much of that time has been spent at Hoffman Estates, IL-based Stonegate.
