Lee & Associates Brokers Lease for 2nd Swing Golf Location
Seven years after opening the only Maryland-area 2nd Swing Golf location in Howard County, the national golf retailer has further expanded its footprint at 8909 McGaw Court in Columbia, Maryland.
2nd Swing Golf has leased an additional 8,802 square feet of space with Buligo Capital Partners, representing a 60 percent increase, which enlarges the store to 23,351 square feet. Kate Jordan, SIOR, Principal; Marley Black, SIOR, Principal, and Samantha Eckels, Senior Associate with Lee & Associates | Maryland, represented the landlord in this lease transaction.
The store expects to be operational by the end of October and add 10 new employees to the team, bolstering the staff to approximately 55 people. 2nd Swing Golf, which operates seven stores in five states, offers trade-in services for golf clubs manufactured by major brands such as PING, Titleist, TaylorMade, and Callaway.
8909 McGaw Court is a single-story building featuring more than 140,000 square feet of industrial and retail space. Additional tenants in the building include the Habitat for Humanity Columbia ReStore.
