Leasing Veteran Hymie Dweck Joins Ripco in Brooklyn
Retail leasing veteran Hymie M. Dweck has joined Ripco Real Estate’s Brooklyn office as executive managing director. Dweck joins RIPCO from NKF, where he served for more than 10 years representing tenants and landlords within the city’s five boroughs.
“We brought Hymie onboard due to his extensive market knowledge and experience in securing leases on behalf of top-tier retailers and the city’s most successful developers,” said COO Mark Kaplan. “Hymie’s breadth of leasing, marketing and development experience, as well as his deep relationships, will make him an invaluable asset to our company as we continue to expand.”
Dweck’s significant transactions include arranging Uber’s 16,000-square-foot lease in the Bronx, which allowed the ride-hailing company to open a Greenlight Hub for drivers in a space formerly occupied by CVS. He also represented developer Adam America Real Estate in leasing 10,000 square feet in Brooklyn to Brooklyn Harvest Market, a gourmet grocery chain.
