Leasing Gets Underway at RXR’s The Willoughby

RXR Realty and Douglas Elliman Real Estate have launched  leasing at The Willoughby, a new ground-up, 34-story mixed-use tower located at the intersection of Fort Greene and Downtown Brooklyn at 196 Willoughby St.. Set to open this fall, the building will dedicate 30% of units as rent stabilized apartments for middle income households. 

“The Willoughby is truly a one-of-a-kind development that blends the best of Brooklyn’s signature Fort Greene and Downtown Brooklyn neighborhoods, while delivering luxury housing to the most sought after address in the borough,” said Joanne Minieri, COO of development and construction at RXR. 

Designed by Perkins Eastman, the 34-story building sports a floating glass facade that reaches 445 feet into the sky. The Willoughby will provide 476 total units which include studios, one- and two bedrooms. . Exclusive amenities for residents include a library, fitness center, yoga studio, conference room, entertaining room and lounge.
