Lease Trifecta Takes Space at International Plaza 2

Three new leases totaling 173,769 square feet were signed in the last 30 days at International Plaza 2, a class-A office building in Dallas. Located at 14221 Dallas North Tollway, the 15-story property totals 388,432 square feet.

Interstate Batteries Inc., represented by Jeff Ellerman and Rich Flaten of CBRE, signed a 77,435-square-foot lease.

“International Plaza II made it to the top of our list because it supports our people-first culture,” said Scott Miller, Interstate Batteries’ president and CEO. “The renovations and outstanding amenities offer our team members flexible spaces to collaborate and enjoy community together, which we know is vital to the Interstate Batteries’ experience.”

A separate brokerage firm represented an undisclosed 80-year-old company for a new 65,684-square-foot lease. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Loving of Mohr Partners represented IMA Financial Group Inc. with the signing of a 30,650-square-foot lease.

“Given IMA’s recent growth in DFW and the increasingly competitive environment for talent, it’s imperative to have a workplace with high-end amenities, advanced digital capabilities and a great location to attract and retain exceptional people,” said Rob Broz, IMA Financial Group DFW market president. “International Plaza gives us all of that and more.”

Chris Taylor, Matt Schendle and Carrie Halbrooks of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Taconic Capital Advisors, in the lease negotiations.
