Leander Readying for $48M Mixed-Use Project

Leander has scored a $48 million mixed-use project. Topo will develop Leander Union, a 155,000 square foot venture that will include retail, restaurants, offices and a church. The Austin Business Journal reports the church, Northpoint Austin, owned the property and negotiated a deal with Topo, that includes a new 40,000 square foot new church. The property is at 10880 Crystal Falls Parkway.

Construction is slated to begin in the fourth quarter this year and finish in the fourth quarter of 2025. The project will have a mix of commercial uses, with an emphasis on food and beverage operators.

Navcon has signed on as the general contractor, while Michael Hsu Office of Architecture will be the architect.

Leander has been among the fastest-growing cities in the U.S. in recent years. From 2010 to 2023, Leander’s population boomed from 26,521 to an estimated 80,067 people, according to the latest U.S. Census Bureau data.
