LCOR Provides Updates on Hoboken Connect, Key Votes on Big Project Slated for Next Month
Developer LCOR, together with its project partners – NJ TRANSIT and the City of Hoboken – today presented elements and imagery of its transformational redevelopment, Hoboken Connect, a mixed-use transit-oriented project aimed at generating significant investment in Hoboken’s waterfront.
LCOR says the project, which is currently under review by the City of Hoboken and pending redevelopment agreement approvals next month, will infuse new energy and offerings into Hoboken’s cultural landscape through additional commercial, residential, retail and outdoor space offerings.
“Hoboken Connect presents a bold vision to reactivate this vibrant area surrounding the revered Lackawanna terminal in a way that encapsulates the treasured history of the Mile Square City while mirroring the thriving businesses, culture, community, innovation and industry that define Hoboken in the present day,” said Brian Barry, Senior Vice President at LCOR.
Key project elements include a 20-story, 635,000-square-foot office building with ground-floor retail, a 389-unit residential property, with 20% of those residences deemed affordable.
