LCOR Opens New Rochelle Residential Tower to First Residents

Real estate investment, development and management firm LCOR has opened Allen, a 28-story residential tower located in Downtown New Rochelle, to its first move-ins. LCOR began leasing for the 307-unit development this summer and welcomed the first residents on August 29.

Located at 247 North Ave., Allen is powered by a geothermal system that eliminates the need for fossil fuel-burning equipment, cutting carbon emissions and lowering energy costs for residents, according to LCOR. This is LCOR’s second geothermal community in New York, following 1515 Surf Ave. in Coney Island, reportedly New York City’s largest geothermal residential project, which opened in 2024.

“Allen represents the future of urban living and it’s an exciting moment to officially welcome our first residents to the project,” said Anthony Tortora, co-CIO at LCOR. “With thoughtfully designed unit layouts, a suite of luxury amenities including a pool and penthouse lounges, and its proximity to the New Rochelle Metro-North train station, Allen offers a boutique living experience for renters seeking a vibrant, balanced lifestyle.”
