Lawyers in Real Estate 2020: Kane Russell Coleman Logan’s Raymond Kane

Raymond Kane is a founding director at Kane Russell Coleman Logan PC in Dallas. In his role, Kane focuses on commercial real estate transactions, including credit tenant lease financing and federal taxation of real estate transactions.

Some of Kane’s notable assignments include the representation of a developer in a Class A mixed-use development including approximately 16 acres and 30 million square feet of leasable space in the City of Dallas. The proposed development will include a residential tower, luxury hotel, shopping, restaurants and other improvements.

Kane also represented Seritage Growth Properties in the redevelopment of Valley View Mall (now called Midtown) in the suburban core of Dallas as well as the development of a new Dallas Midtown project spanning more than 100 acres.

Outside of the practice, Kane served as an Adjunct Professor at the SMU School of Law and participated in the Dallas 500 as well as serving as a Boy Scout Troop Leader.

It’s for these reasons that we named Raymond Kane to our inaugural grouping of Lawyers in Real Estate. These are real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in both their practice and the larger community.
