Lawyers in Real Estate 2020: Jackson Walker’s Kurt Nondorf

With more than 20 years of experience, Kurt Nondorf, Partner of Jackson Walker, has established himself as a professional utilizing his wealth of real estate knowledge and utilizing his unparalleled problem-solving skills. With a focus in office market, development, purchase and sales, ground leasing, and tenant leasing, Nondorf is by and large regarded for his ability to take the complexities of the real estate industry and aid his clients in navigating the details of complex transactions or leases. Over the years, he has represented tenants and landlords in multiple leases greater than 400,000 square feet.

He has also represented a number of major law firms for their headquarter leases, being adept at maneuvering through the processes. His experience includes representing tenants in public and private projects involving complicated ground lease/condominium structure, numerous nine-figure office acquisitions and sales, and multiple sale/leaseback transactions. Additionally, Nondorf represented an AmLaw 50 law firm in their national headquarters lease.

Nondorf has been recognized for his achievements many times over, having been recognized by Woodward/White Inc, Chambers USA, Thomas Reuters, and H Texas Magazine. His involvement in his community is not to be overlooked – having served on the Executive Committee for the Board of Trustees of Houston Christian High School, Chair of the Board of Directors of Covenant House, and is a member of the Houston Real Estate Lawyers Council.

It’s for these reasons that we named Kurt Nondorf to our inaugural grouping of Lawyers in Real Estate. These are real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in both their practice and the larger community.
