Law Firm Takes 100K SF at Tishman Speyer Boston Building

Burns & Levinson signed a 15-year lease to take roughly 100,000 square feet at Tishman Speyer’s 125 High Street in Boston. The law firm will relocate from 125 Summer St., its home for 28 years, to the 30-story, 950,000-square-foot High Street Tower in Boston’s Financial District in July 2019.

The new space features a larger floor plate across two floors, compared to the firm’s current five-floor configuration, that will allow Burns & Levinson to create an environment that better reflects the collaborative way that the firm’s 250 plus lawyers and staff currently work and interact. The firm plans to include a grand staircase that connects its two floors into one cohesive office. Gensler has been hired to design the interior.

125 High Street is a three-building, 1.5-million-square-foot multi-use business center built in 1991. The complex covers 2.5 acres and is connected via an 11-story glass atrium.
