Law Firm Subleases Space at 1900 K Street NW
Law firm Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP has secured a sublease from Dentons, another law firm, at 1900 K Street NW in Washington, D.C.
The firm will occupy the entire 8th floor in a long-term sublease totaling 28,251 square feet. Savills Vice Chairman Tom Fulcher and Managing Director Adam Brecher negotiated the deal on behalf of Bradley, which Savills represents nationally. Dentons was represented by JLL’s Elizabeth Cooper and Bobby Blair. The building is owned by global investment management company Nuveen.
“Bradley’s decision to relocate was driven by a clear objective: to secure a high-quality, modern workspace while achieving significant cost savings,” said Michael Koplan, Bradley’s D.C. office managing partner.
Relocating from 33,000 square feet on two non-contiguous floors at 1615 L Street, Bradley’s new K Street location offers significant rent and capital savings, and a modern workspace. “We have seen a number of these types of transactions recently and expect to see more moving forward,” added Fulcher.
