Law Firm Steptoe Leases Three Floors with Durst Organization

International law firm Steptoe LLP has signed a lease for 57,988 square feet across three full floors at The Durst Organization’s 1133 Ave. of the Americas. The lease is for 15 years

Steptoe’s New York office managing partner, Michelle Levin, said, “We are in growth mode in New York and have been looking to expand our footprint to match our expanded capabilities … We like the Bryant Park neighborhood in Midtown.  It positions us right in the center of the city and is the ideal location as we grow our presence. 1133 Ave. of the Americas has the space, resources, and facilities that we and any world-class law firm would need to operate in the heart of the world’s financial capital.”

The Durst Organization was represented in-house by Rocco Romeo and Nora Caliban. Timothy Dempsey and Greg Maurer-Hollaender of CBRE represented Steptoe. The lease brings the 1.1-million-square-foot office tower to 90% occupancy.
