Law Firm Renews, Expands at 200 West Madison

Law firm Ice Miller LLP signed a long-term lease extension and expansion at 200 West Madison. The firm will increase its current 22,897-square-foot space to 36,112-square feet, remaining on the entire 35th floor and expanding to part of the 36th floor.
JLL managing director Corey Siegrist, international director Bill Rogers and VP Brian Means represented Ice Miller in negotiations. Transwestern SVP Jeff Dowdell represented 200 West Madison’s ownership, BentallGreenOak.
Ice Miller’s senior management knew the firm needed more office space for expanding operations. Following a strategic review of current and future occupancy needs and available market options, 200 West Madison continued to be the best fit for Ice Miller.
“A transaction of this size, especially during this pandemic environment, is a positive sign,” said Siegrist. “The majority of recent leasing activity has been short-term in nature as companies continue to navigate re-entry and determine future footprint.”
