Law Firm Nearly Doubles Tampa Office Space in Move to Water Street

National law firm Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LP plans to move its Florida flagship from Tampa’s CBD to Water Street, nearly doubling the size of its downtown office, the Tampa Bay Business Journal reported. Bradley has signed a lease for 37,000 square feet on the 10th and 11th floors of Strategic Property Partners’ (SPP) Thousand and One along Channelside Drive.

The firm will vacate 20,000 square feet at 100 North Tampa by year’s end. Cushman & Wakefield represented SPP in negotiations. Bradley was represented by Savills.

Craig Mayfield, Bradley’s Tampa managing partner, told the Business Journal that the move illustrates the firm’s growth plans in Florida. Tampa is Birmingham, AL-based Bradley’s only Florida office, and Mayfield said the new Water Street office will allow the firm to expand its statewide reach. Currently employing 28 attorneys in Tampa, Bradley expects to reach 50 in two years and 100 eventually.
