Law Firm King & Spalding May Join Tenant Roster at B of A’s Chicago Tower
Law firm King & Spalding, which opened its first Chicago office in 2017, is nearing a deal to lease a full floor at the 55-story tower under construction at 110 N. Wacker Dr., Crain’s Chicago Business reported. 110 N. Wacker will be anchored by Bank of America, the tower’s namesake.
The lease for more than 25,000 square feet would double the firm’s footprint at 444 W. Lake St., where it subleases space from law firm DLA Piper. The new deal also would take yet another floor off the market at a building that’s more than two-thirds leased almost a year and a half before its opening, Crain’s reported.
Although B of A will anchor the riverfront tower with a 530,000-square-foot office, King & Spalding would join a quickly-growing list of law firms at 110 N. Wacker, now under development by Riverside Investment & Development and the Howard Hughes Corporation.
