Law Firm Day Pitney Relocates Within Stamford

Law firm Day Pitney LLP is relocating its Stamford, CT offices to 1 Stamford Plaza. The 19,450-square-foot lease, which commences in the first quarter of 2019, will end its tenancy of more than 30 years at the Canterbury Green complex in downtown Stamford.

Savills Studley’s L. Craig Lemle, Michael Goldman and Jason Perla arranged the long-term transaction for the law firm, the largest in Connecticut. RFR’s Margaret Carlson provided in-house representation for the property’s ownership.

“After a yearlong search of the entire market, Day Pitney ultimately decided that relocating made the most sense for the company based on their desire to be in a modern office environment in close proximity to the Metro-North and I-95,” said Lemle. “This new space is a perfect fit to accommodate their entire Stamford team all on one floor.”
