Latch Introduces Multifamily Operating System
Midtown Manhattan-based Latch recently launched its first multifamily building operating system. Called LatchOS, the new system is intended to enable residents and building operators to remotely manage a wide range of smart home features through a single platform.

For building operators, LatchOS delivers consolidated enterprise device management, added privacy and security oversight, and customized solutions specific to their building, according to Latch.
For residents, LatchOS facilitates several functions in one app, from enabling unattended and secure package delivery to remotely controlling every smart device, while also acting as the single credential to unlock every door. Additionally, says Latch, “LatchOS delivers a totally contactless access experience for residents, guests, and service providers alike.
