LA’s Most Expensive Land For Sale at $1B
Beverly Hills 90210 is one of the most expensive zip codes, and is famed for being so. Now, the most expensive piece of real estate in the history of Los Angeles is for sale in the world-renowned city for a whopping $1 billion.
The 157 acres of undeveloped land is nicknamed The Mountain because of its size and height. To put its size into perspective, Disneyland takes up roughly 85-acres. To put its asking price into perspective, a 150-acre lot in the area went for $250 million.
Previously owned by notables like the late Shah of Iran’s sister, Merv Griffin and late Herbalife founder Mark Hughes, the parcel of land has never been developed. Only time and really deep pockets know what’s to come of the sprawling acreage.
