Larkspur's The Juniper reduces planned units on $165M Dallas project

Larkspur Capital Pares Back Dallas Multifamily Project

The Juniper residential tower on Commerce Street between Deep Ellum and Fair Park was first planned for 300 units. Details from a recent public filing now indicate the project will be pared back to 240 units. The project is also expected to include a four level parking garage and ground floor retail store. A third-floor amenity deck in The Juniper will have lounge seating and overlook the downtown Dallas skyline.

Larkspur puts the costs of the project, which is slated to get moving this spring, at $160 million. Originally, the Corgan designed project was planned for 19-stories and 330 units.

The new community is set to open in 2025. Larkspur’s website touts that The Juniper project is across the street from another Larkspur project, The Willow, a 190-unit rental community.
