Largest New Office in Boston Opens
One Congress, Boston’s largest new office project in 2023, celebrated its opening. Developed by Carr Properties, National Real Estate Advisors, and The HYM Investment Group, this 600-foot-tall tower adds one million square feet of office space to downtown Boston.
It’s fully leased with State Street Bank occupying 510,000 square feet and InterSystems taking 420,000 square feet, among other tenants. The building features a lobby with concierge service, collaborative workspaces, and a coffee bar, spanning a city block. It also offers a full-floor amenity center and a nearly one-acre outdoor space.
One Congress is LEED Platinum-certified with proximity to outdoor spaces and MBTA stations. “One Congress sets a new standard for office through its exceptional design and focus on sustainability,” said Oliver Carr, chief executive officer at Carr.
