Large Scale Data Center Deployments May Be New Trend

Los Angeles has typically been known for smaller data center deployments for tech, media, gaming and the like. However, the increased demand by this highly populated area has given rise to large-scale projects, which will continue to be the trend for the future, says Darren Eades, JLL managing director.

“The increased demand for faster, safer and more reliable content delivery for end users has forced hyperscale operators to expand their data center supply in Southern California,” says Eades. “Customers are demanding a more flexible hybrid cloud solution, thus the expansion by cloud providers in more state-of-the art scalable facilities with diverse connectivity options.”
