Lane Enterprises to Develop Manufacturing Facility
Lane Enterprises Inc., a manufacturer of corrugated metal and plastic drainage products, announced its intent to build a new manufacturing facility in Temple, TX. The corporation, headquartered in Camp Hill, PA, is committing $16.3 million to build its facility on a 21-acre site in Rail Park at Central Pointe, in the 4,900-acre Temple Industrial Park. The plant will be Lane’s first in Texas, and will produce High Density Polyethylene Pipe and corrugated metal pipe.
According to company president Patrick Collings, the Temple factory will be its 12th nationwide. “The Temple facility will serve the growing Texas market, as well as support Lane’s customers in Mexico,” he said. The plant will create 21 new jobs, with a $1.2-million average annual payroll.
Temple Industrial Park is under the direction of the Temple Economic Development Corp.
