Maitland, FL-based LandQwest Commercial has named Daniel Butts as president, a newly formed role for the commercial real estate brokerage firm. Butts will oversee the company’s commercial real estate division and leads its overall growth strategy, including recruiting specialists in leasing, sales, investment sales and tenant representation across Central, West Central and Southwest FL.

Butts joins LandQwest Commercial with over 20 years of experience in commercial investment, brokerage, and property management. He most recently served as director of leasing for Crossman & Company; before that, he was SVP of Foundry Commercial; SVP and COO of Battaglia Group Management and director of investments at CNL Financial Group.

Butts specializes in large landholdings and complex investments. His tenure includes completing over $50 million of commercial transactions, overseeing a 25,000,000-square-foot leasing and property management portfolio and recruiting/retaining over 50 associates.
