LandPark Acquires 130K-SF Houston Office Building
A uniquely designed Houston office tower has been acquired by LandPark Advisors. The Houston Business Journal reports the seller of the eight-story tower was a special service company. The 130,735-square-foot tower at 5858 Westheimer Road is the second acquisition in the area for LandPark; the company has also purchased 2603 Augusta, a 16-story office tower across the street.
The JLL team representing the seller included Rick Goings and Dawson Hastings. Management and leasing will be handled by LandPark Commercial.
LandPark says its plan is to modernize 5858 Westheimer and integrate it into the broader amenity package underway at 2603 Augusta. The lobby and common areas, updating their branding and signage and building move-in-ready speculative suites are on the list for the makeover.
5858 Westheimer was built in 1981 and is currently 47% leased to more than 10 tenants. The Class B building features a 300-space parking garage and surface parking.
