Lowe's leases Landmark Mesquite spec building

Landmark’s Mesquite Warehouse Project Lands Lowe’s Fulfillment Center

Landmark Companies is currently in the pre-lease phase of Landmark at the Meadows, a speculative two-building Class A industrial warehouse project under development in Mesquite, Texas.

The first building is currently under construction and expected to be completed next year.  Building II, a 139,319-square-foot property, has already secured a 78,000-square-foot lease with Lowe’s for a last-mile fulfillment center. Typically, fulfillment centers handle the entire supply chain process, ranging from order picking and processing to packaging and shipping. Landmark’s Julia Baytler added, “The lease with Lowe’s validates our development thesis and reflects the strong demand for modern industrial facilities in Texas.”

JLL is handling the remaining space in Building II and Building I, a 216,000-square-foot building located next door, which is under construction and anticipated to be delivered in 2024. Hall Structured Finance arranged a $13.1 million construction loan for the project.
