Landmark Properties Names Development Managing Director for Europe

Global real estate investment manager Landmark Properties, headquartered in Athens, GA, has appointed Ioannis Verdelis as managing director of development and investment for its European operations. He will co-lead Landmark’s efforts alongside Alex Katsnelson and Tom Banning to build and scale a pan-European student accommodation and residential investment platform.

“We are excited to welcome Ioannis to the Landmark team,” said Wes Rogers, chairman and CEO of Landmark Properties. “His track record of delivering complex, high-value projects across Europe — particularly in the student housing sector — combined with his reputation for leadership and innovation, will be a significant addition to the leadership of our European-based team.”

Verdelis brings more than 15 years of real estate and investment leadership to Landmark. He joins from Vita Group, where he was CIO. Previously, he led Vita’s international expansion into Spain as managing director of international development.
