Landmark Launches as New, Recapitalized Entity

Newport Beach, CA-based Landmark Real Estate has recapitalized and rebranded. Kraemer Land Company (KLC), a multi-generational family office focused exclusively on real estate, made a majority investment. This broader sector focus will incorporate the investment and asset management platform of KLC, with the advisory services of Landmark.

Landmark’s David W. Kidder (pictured above right) says, “As many investors move away from funds and toward direct investments, family offices and high net worth individuals want to invest alongside other experienced investors to give them confidence they are making sound decisions.”

The company will work with family offices and private investors seeking diversified exposure in real estate, with Landmark acting as the lead investor and providing the back-office reporting platform.

KLC’s Brett Albrecht (above left) commented, “By investing in Landmark, we gain their advisory services, which we see demand for from other family offices, as well as the opportunity to add human resources focused on expanding our investment and asset management platform.”

Dennis Kaiser is Vice President of Content and Public Relations for Connect Commercial Real Estate.
