Landmark at Otay Reaches Tilt-Up Milestone

Majestic Realty Co.’s and Sunroad Enterprises’ Landmark at Otay, a four-building industrial center totaling 845,830 square feet, has reached the concrete wall panel tilt-up and roof construction milestone for Phase 1 of the speculative project. Construction commenced in January 2021 and is slated for completion in September 2021.

“It’s always exciting to hit these milestone moments in the construction and development process, particularly with the continued strength of this market, and the energy and strong interest from a wide range of users looking to expand or find their home in Otay Mesa,” said Tom Simmons, Majestic Realty Co. vice president. “Together with our partners at Sunroad, we’ve put an incredible amount of thought into the development of this iconic Landmark at Otay project. Based on the pre-lease and lease up of our previous Majestic Sunroad project here, we know that our Phase I and soon-to-be Phase II buildings are going to deliver highly sought-after warehouse and distribution product with leading-edge function and design features in a timely manner.”

Colliers’ Mark Lewkowitz, Chris Holder and Will Holder are handling leasing efforts for Landmark at Otay, with opportunities now available.

“Given the rich trade and economic opportunities in this binational epicenter, Landmark at Otay and its neighboring project, Majestic Sunroad Center will facilitate continued growth of the area,” said Lewkowitz.
