Land Sale Will Lead to Medical Resort in McHenry

Inland Real Estate Commercial Brokerage has closed on the sale of a five-acre land site, situated at Route 31 and Bull Valley Road in McHenry, IL, for more than $1 million. SVPs Paul Montes and Eric Spiess facilitated the transaction on behalf of the seller.

The buyers, a partnership between Leo Brown Group of Indiana and Ignite Medical Resorts of Missouri, plan to construct a medical resort-luxury rehabilitation center on the land.

“We are pleased that we were able to identify a niche opportunity for the McHenry community, and close on this transaction that will provide residents with access to a rehabilitation facility and skilled nursing staff,” said Spiess.

Headquartered in Kansas City, MO, Ignite operates a medical resort there as well as in Niles, IL. The company also plans developments in South Milwaukee, WI and Independence, MO.
