Hunton Group, an independent distributor for Trane, acquired 4.9 acres at Dixie Farm Road and Gulfstream Park in Houston. The buyer, which handles distribution of Trane’s commercial, industrial and residential heating and air conditioning systems, equipment and controls, will build a 75,000-square-foot distribution facility on the land, which is on Houston’s southwest side.

The Hunton Group hired GRA Construction as the general contractor for the facility, on which construction is expected to start in October 2017. Chris Caudill and Joel Michael of NAI Partners’ Houston office represented the buyer in the land sale. Jeanette Holt, with J. Holt Properties LLC, represented the sellers, Melvin Goldman, Marvin Shaw and Larry Wright.
