Lambert’s Market Properties in Dorchester, Westwood Sold for $23M

The Lambert family, owners of Lambert’s Rainbow Market stores in Dorchester and Westwood, has sold the properties to entities associated with a Cadillac dealership in Norwood for a total of $22.8 million, first reported by Boston Business Journal.

The sales come following a legal dispute among Lambert family members related to a trust that owned the real estate for these stores. Dorchester Realty Ventures LLC purchased the Dorchester location and surrounding plaza for $10 million, while Westwood Realty Ventures LLC acquired the Westwood store and plaza for $12.8 million.

Both entities list the address of Cadillac of Norwood, suggesting a connection with the dealership. The stores will continue to operate under a 10-year lease.
