LAI Hosts Crystal Globe Award Celebration in San Diego

The San Diego Chapter of Lambda Alpha International held its 44th annual Crystal Globe Award and Installation Gala at the Westgate Hotel, presenting former city planner Brad Richter the trophy for his contributions in the San Diego Area. The land use organization awarded Richter the Crystal Globe for his career work making a significant impact on the region’s standard of living, quality of life and sustainable growth.

LAI also presented a Humanitarian Award to Operation Shelter to Home, an initiative by the City and County of San Diego, San Diego Housing Commission, San Diego Convention Center and San Diego Regional Task Force on Homelessness. The program opened the Convention Center as a safe environment for people who were experiencing homelessness during the pandemic.

Mark comes to ConnectCRE with an extensive background as a business and news reporter in San Francisco radio, as well as 35 years as a traffic reporter on several stations including KGO, KNBR, KCBS and KFRC. As a business reporter, Mark covered the tech world in Silicon Valley where he became familiar with real estate transactions in the hot Bay Area marketplace.
