Lacantera Builders Readies for San Antonio MXU Project

Local developer Lacantera Builders Inc. is readying to develop Heron at Cresta Bella, a mixed-use project near the Dominion in far northwest San Antonio. The 60,000-square-foot Heron at Cresta Bella is the first of many mixed-use projects to be backed by a group of Mexican developers. The next San Antonio project will be Heron at Stone Oak, and will be in far north San Antonio.

Heron at Cresta Bella will offer first-floor retail and two corner restaurants, with the remaining space dedicated to office space. Werkplaats, a co-working space, will be leasing 20,000 square feet at the new project.

The Mexican investors are discussing the possibility of more Heron mixed-use projects in locations that could include Alamo Ranch, near Pearl, or downtown.
