Laboratory Corporation of America Inks Space in Baltimore

Laboratory Corporation of America has signed a lease of 1,137 square feet at Baltimore’s Yard 56, specifically within The Wellness Center, a medical office building.

Delivered in Q2 2023, 5601 Eastern Avenue is a Class A medical office building. LabCorp joins tenants including Baltimore Medical System, Innovative Physical Therapy, and BayVanguard Bank within this health-centric facility. Yard 56 was designated as a Federal Opportunity Zone, and spans multiple phases, including medical facilities, apartments, and structured parking.

“The addition of LabCorp and other like-minded healthcare tenants strengthens the foundation of Yard 56, enriching the wellness ecosystem and enhancing both the quality of life and the overall well-being of those who call this neighborhood home,” said Erik Ylitalo, Vice President of Leasing for MCB Real Estate.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Matt Melnick and Lizzy Sweeney represented the landlord, MCB Real Estate, in the transaction.
