LAB Holding Acquires Corona Mall
Costa Mesa, CA-based Shaheen Sadeghi and LAB Holding plan to redevelop Corona Mall. The Corona City Council approved a $1.9-million agreement with the developer for 86,027 square feet of retail space at the dated mall that will be renovated.
LAB Holding is acquiring more than 50% of the center, located at Sixth and Main streets, from the Corona Housing Authority. The balance of the open-air pedestrian mall is privately owned and occupied.
The developer behind popular Orange County retail projects, The Camp in Costa Mesa and the Anaheim Packing District, envisions adding a fresh mix of restaurants, breweries, boutique retailers and gathering spaces in Corona. The transaction is expected to close within six months.
