La Quinta’s SilverRock Resort is Set to Turn Dirt

Construction is set to begin this month at SilverRock Resort in La Quinta within the Coachella Valley. Building permits for the hotel and single-family homes have been issued.

SilverRock Resort will ultimately consist of 29 branded single-family homes and 55 branded condominiums serviced by two hotel brands. Construction on the first hotel is set to begin this month, which includes 134 casita-style guestrooms and suites alongside a spa and convention/meeting center.

Bruce Maize, chief operating officer of Robert Green Residential at The Robert Green Company, is overseeing all residential construction within the development.

“This highly anticipated project is poised to become the first five-star property in the history of the Coachella Valley,” said Robert Green, president and CEO of The Robert Green Company. “La Quinta has been an iconic destination for almost 100 years, and SilverRock will set a new standard for desert living through contemporary design, experiential lifestyle and personalized services. This will all be delivered as part of a curated strategy involving distinguished hotel brands and an exclusive collection of real estate offerings.”

R.D. Olson Construction has been awarded the construction contract for the hotel.
