LA Homes Reveals Film’s Most Googled Houses

Real estate company LA Homes has analyzed the monthly worldwide search volume for each of the highest-ranking movies on IMDb and the homes that feature in them, and determined that the McCallister family home in Home Alone is the most Googled movie home in the world. The house, located at 671 Lincoln Avenue in Winnetka, IL, sees an average of 70,000 searches a month.

A distant second to Macauley Culkin’s film home is the Cullen family house in the movie, Twilight, which sees an average of 12,200 Google searches a month. Situated at 3333 NW Quimby St., in Portland, OR the house is owned by Nike footwear director John Hoke.

Rounding out the top five is Allison’s house, aka “Ropes Mansion”, in the 1993 film Hocus Pocus, which averages 12,000 searches per month. The Father of the Bride family home sees 5,600 searches per month followed by 5,300 searches for the Florida home of Edward Scissorshands.
