KWILL Merchant Acquires Brokerage Division of MK Asset Management

KWILL Merchant Advisors, an investment and advisory firm, has acquired the commercial real estate brokerage division of MK Asset Management, LLC, to expand KWILL’s professional services supporting small and mid-sized businesses in a variety of industry sectors. The group will become known in the market as KWILL RE.  

The acquisition includes eight real estate brokers and a portfolio of more than one million square feet of land and building listings with tenant and buyer representation assignments in nearly a dozen markets throughout the Midwest and the United States. 

John Coleman will lead the advisory and healthcare sectors of the KWILL RE. Matt Knafel will focus on directing the food and beverage and development site selection groups. The KWILL RE team will be supported by five additional brokers to help execute client assignments. Hugh Williams, Chairman and Managing Member of KWILL Merchant Advisors, will contribute strategic thought leadership to all assignments.
