KWA Breaks Ground on Second Phase of Fort Worth Multifamily
KWA Construction, a general contractor specializing in multifamily developments, has broken ground on the second of a projected three phases of Columbia Residential’s Columbia Renaissance Square in Fort Worth, following the completion of Phase I. This latest phase will be comprised of affordable independent senior living and mixed-income apartments.
“Being selected to build the second phase of this project is a testament to KWA’s excellent working relationship with Columbia Residential,” said Brian Webster, president of KWA Construction. “We share their commitment to quality construction, sustainable materials and energy efficiency. Once complete, we know the apartment homes we’re building together will become an integral cornerstone of the community.”
Columbia Renaissance Square is a community designed around a revitalization framework developed by Purpose Built Communities. It’s centered on a cradle-to-college-to-career education pipeline, a mixed-income housing strategy and community wellness.
The project is expected to be completed in December of this year.
