Kushner Proposing 41-Story Fort Lauderdale Rental Units
The city’s Development Review Committee will consider the application for a pair of 41-story apartment towers in the Flagler Village neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale. The Kushner Cos. owns a 1.54-acre site at 400 to 446 N. Andrews Avenue on Sept. 26. The site already has the zoning in place for this plan, however, the developer is seeking some waivers because of the challenge of building on a narrow plot of land. It’s asking for extra height.
The South Florida Business Journal reports under Kushner’s proposal, the site would feature 852 apartments, 5,481 square feet of retail/restaurant space, and 872 parking spaces. The project would have studio, one and two bedroom options.
Amenities would include a pool deck on the eighth floor with a fitness room, a café, a pet grooming station, a conference room, a game room and a spa. Each tower would have a sky garden deck on the 19th and 30th floors.
Adache Group Architects is the architect, Moss the general contractor.
