Kubota Tractor Opens $50M Texas HQ
The North American headquarters of Japanese equipment manufacturer Kubota Tractor Corp. is now complete in Grapevine, TX off State Highway 121. The company opened the three-story, 193,000-square-foot campus that houses roughly 300 employees now, but could expand to 600.
The project features two office buildings that house both Kubota Tractor Corp. and Kubota Credit Corp., as well as a research and development facility.
Kubota is one of the largest manufacturers of tractors, construction equipment and machinery products. It relocated to Texas from Torrance, CA, following a similar path of Japanese automaker, Toyota.
The company says the move was predicated by a desire to be more centrally located to its U.S. dealer network, as well as manufacturing and distribution facilities in Kansas and Georgia.
