KTGY Tops Off Buzzard Point Mixed-Use Development

KTGY, an architecture, branding, interiors, and planning firm, is celebrating the placement of the final beam atop Vermeer, a mixed-use high-rise in Washington, D.C.

Scheduled for completion in 2024, Vermeer is a collaboration between KTGY and Toll Brothers Apartment Living. Situated in the Buzzard Point area, the design draws inspiration from the nearby Audi Field stadium. The architecture blends masonry facades with metal panels, combining traditional Georgian elements with a contemporary urban aesthetic.

The LEED Silver standard building offers amenities, including a rooftop pool, fitness center, lounges, and outdoor seating. Vermeer has 501 residential units, ranging from studios to three bedrooms.
