KTGY-Designed Boutique Hotel Moves Closer to Final Approval
Award-winning Los-Angeles based KTGY Architecture + Planning has received city planning commission approval to move forward on Granada Hotel, a 60-room boutique hotel and mixed-use development in downtown Morgan Hill (southern Silicon Valley). The next and final approval must come from the city council.
The new project hopes to attract Silicon Valley business travelers and tourists alike to the revitalized neighborhood, which is currently renovating the nearby Granada Theater. The hotel’s features include a large conference room, wine bar, spa and fitness center, resort-style pool, valet service, banquet hall and an all-inclusive facility to host weddings.
Manny Gonzalez, FAIA, LEED AP and principal with KTGY, said, “The building’s architectural design thoughtfully marries the traditional with the modern.”
