Kroger's Secures 6-yr lease for Austin grocery delivery center

Kroger’s Secures 6-Year Lease for Austin Delivery Center

It looks like a thing that got big during the Covid pandemic, is not going away. Delivering groceries to homes is still popular, and Kroger just leased a 70,000 square foot building in Austin to keep up on demand. The six year lease was for one of the three buildings at the Tuscany Logistics Center. The others have been leased by Target and Diligent Delivery. The center was developed by Dalfen Industries.

Tom Dalfen explains why these types of industrial buildings are crucial, “The expansion of e-commerce grocery delivery services is a prime example of why last mile industrial real estate continues to be in such high deal across the nation.”

Tuscany Logistics Center is located in the Northeast Austin industrial submarket, providing a quality location to service both Austin and San Antonio. This development is access to the metro’s major thoroughfares such as I-35, US-183, US-130, and US-290.
