Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to Open Jersey Shore Location

JLL has secured a lease with Krispy Kreme for a 4,000-square-foot factory store at Town & Country Shopping Center in Lakewood, New Jersey. This marks Krispy Kreme’s return to Ocean County after nearly 20 years.

The new store, set to open in Fall 2024, will feature a “glaze waterfall” and a conveyor belt for fresh doughnut production, along with a drive-through window. The franchise group is expanding its presence in New Jersey with locations in Paramus, Springfield, East Rutherford, and Jersey City.

JLL’s David Townes and Alana Friedman represented Krispy Kreme, while R.J. Brunelli & Co. represented Steiner Equities, the landlord. The shopping center, built in 1991 and totaling 443,600 square feet, is anchored by Home Depot and Value City Furniture.
