Kripper Studio Tapped to Convert Victorian-Style Property into Duplex in Brookline

Boston-based real estate development firm ADCO Realty has tapped Kripper Studio to restore and renovate a historic Victorian-style residence into a contemporary duplex in Brookline.

Located in the Griggs Park neighborhood of Brookline at 523 Washington St., the property was built in 1910. Kripper and ADCO have committed to preserving the properties historic character.

Construction is slated to begin this summer, with a scheduled completion date of Spring 2021. The two renovated units will be listed for sale separately.

“One of the most inspiring challenges as an architect is to be asked to restore an historic building that has been neglected,” said Amir Kripper, founding principal at Kripper Studio. “Our approach involves unveiling the building’s inner beauty with a design that fosters contemporary living.”
