Kraus-Anderson Expands Twin Cities Seniors Campus

Kraus-Anderson has begun a $114.5-million expansion of Friendship Village, a senior living campus in the Twin Cities suburb of Bloomington, MN. The renovation will include a three-story health center, three-story skilled nursing building and five-story residential living building.

Owned by Lifespace Communities, the project will add a new independent living building with 93 apartments alongside a variety of services and amenities. Additionally, the 1.75-acre expansion will include a new health center building with a state-of-the-art physical and occupational therapy gym, memory care suites, and assisted living apartments.

Renovations will also be made to Friendship Village’s current health center to redesign all skilled nursing and rehab suites. These additions and updates coincide with an expected increase in demand for senior living options locally.

Construction is expected to be completed in the fall of 2022.

Connect Chicago Fall 2019 will take place Oct. 29 in Chicago. For more information, or to register, click here.
